Aromatherapy
Add-on price: $12.00
Aromatherapy is one of our more popular add-ons. It’s a holistic method of treatment that’s been used for literally thousands of years. Peoples in Egypt, India, China and others have used plants and plant extracts to promote healing. Today, many people are familiar with the essential oils used in aromatherapy. The potential of using these oils as a way to treat disease was recognized by French physicians back in the 1800’s. And many people today have continued to see the benefits that aromatherapy can bring them to promote both physical and emotional wellness.
There are different ways that essential oils can be used to help a variety of conditions. At Well Into Life we typically use diffusers and/or direct application of the oils to the skin for absorption. Just let your therapist know if you have a preference in how essential oils are used in your service.
Some of the benefits of Aromatherapy may include:

Cupping Therapy
Add-on price: $23.00
The roots of Cupping Therapy goes back thousands of years to ancient Chinese and Egyptian medicines. It has evolved into a modern-day practice that has been recognized by some as being an effective treatment for increasing blood flow, enabling pain relief, reducing inflammation, and increasing range of motion. Cupping Therapy uses cups that are applied to the skin and then a suction or vacuum is created manually using a small hand-held pump. This suction stimulates blood and loosens fascial and connective tissue. Note that Cupping Therapy typically produces round marks and can cause some amount of soreness following your session. Please let your therapist know prior to the treatment if you have any concerns about the after-effects of Cupping Therapy.

Far Infrared (FIR) Therapy Mat
Add-on price: $25.00
Here’s a great way to increase the effectiveness of your massage… add our Far Infrared (FIR) Therapy to your session! You’ll be laying on a special full-sized mat that blends far infrared rays with pulsed electromagnetic field therapy to help facilitate maximum results. These infrared rays can penetrate some 4-6 inches into the body’s tissues to help decrease pain, inflammation, and stiffness. The added heat also helps to increase blood circulation where applied.
Benefits of Far Infrared (FIR) Therapy
For more details about Far Infrared (FIR) Therapy visit https://www.holistichealthherbalist.com/12-amazing-healing-benefits-of-far-infrared-mats/ , or search “benefits of far infrared therapy” on Google.
Far Infrared (FIR) therapy might not be for everyone…
What to expect in your Far Infrared (FIR) session.
You’ll rest comfortably on a massage table, just as you normally would during your massage session. However, the table will be equipped with a special full-sized far infrared (FIR) mat. You’ll notice the table feels a bit different since the mat utilizes various types of natural gemstones (jade, amethyst, tourmaline), so it may be more firm than what you’re accustomed to. The surface will feel warmer, due to the heating of the gemstones. The mat itself will be covered so that your skin does not come in direct contact with the heated surface of the mat. Note that far infrared rays are not visible, so you won’t see any light coming from the table. And far infrared rays penetrate the coverings that we use, so there’s no concern about you not getting the full benefit of the far infrared therapy. The temperature will be set based on the length of the session you have, but please feel free to let your therapist know if you’re feeling too warm and you need the temperature adjusted. Some people feel the effects of the treatment right away, and some may feel the benefits of the treatment over a span of sessions… every body is a bit different with how it responds to this type of treatment.
Hemp CBD Oil
Add-on price: $15.00
It didn’t take long for people to see the benefits of incorporating Hemp CBD Oil with therapeutic massage. It’s an excellent combination! The benefits of Hemp CBD are becoming more known and recognized by many people. Applying it topically via a massage is a great way to target specific areas of the body that require particular attention for pain relief. You get all the great benefits of a massage, PLUS you can get the added benefit of the pain relieving effects of Hemp CBD.
Do you have any of these symptoms?
If so, the properties in Hemp CBD might help you. Many people who have used over-the-counter drugs to relieve a variety of symptoms (like those mentioned above) believe that CBD offers a more natural alternative. Studies have shown that CBD may help reduce chronic pain by impacting endocannabinoid receptor activity, reducing inflammation and interacting with neurotransmitters.
Are there any side effects?
Hemp CBD is well tolerated by most people, even among those who use high dosages. However, as with all types of treatments, it’s best to discuss it with your doctor to make sure your usage of CBD will not introduce any risks for you personally, especially if you use any medications that CBD may have the potential of interacting or interfering with. A study showed that full spectrum hemp oil can potentially inhibit the metabolism of hepatic drugs and decrease p-glycoproteins in the body. If you’re on a medication that would be impacted by the neutralization of the P450 liver enzyme, it’s important that you talk with your doctor before taking high doses of hemp CBD.
Other potential side effects that were noted in studies include:
If you have chronic health conditions, it is always best to check with your doctor before engaging in therapies such as massage, including a massage using Hemp CBD Oil. And please talk with your massage therapist about your conditions before your appointment. There might be other therapies they can suggest that will have better results for you.
Does Hemp CBD Oil create a high?
There are a couple of different CBD products that most people are familiar with. One is derived from Hemp and the other from Marijuana. They’re similar in that they come from the same plant family, Cannabis. But one, marijuana, is grown primarily for its THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) content, while the other, hemp, has very low THC. And it’s this THC that makes a person experience the feeling of being high because of its psychoactive effect. All the CBD products at Well Into Life are derived from the Cannabis plant that naturally has very low amounts of THC… the hemp plant. The Hemp CBD products that can legally be sold in the United States have a maximum of .3% per dry unit (or less) of the compound THC. Now, compare that to the amount of THC in marijuana, which is around 5% – 30%. That’s a big difference! And considering the fact that the products we use contain non-detectable amounts of THC, there’s no chance that a person would get high from a Hemp CBD oil massage at Well Into Life.
What kind of oil do we use?
We use a high-quality, non-greasy Hemp CBD Massage Oil that delivers CBD deep into tissues. The CBD oil is non-GMO and free of pesticides and contaminants. Only therapeutic grade, lab tested CBD is used in our massages.

Hot Stone Massage
Add-on price: $25.00
For some people, there’s nothing quite as relaxing as a hot stone massage. But it’s actually much more than that. It’s a form of thermotherapy that has its origins in China, some 2000 years ago, and has been used in many cultures since. For example, Native Americans used heated stones to help cure different diseases and illnesses. More recently, it was in 1993 that Mary Nelson-Hannigan used heated stones in a therapy that she called “LaStone Therapy” to massage the body. It’s been perfected ever since and is now a very common, and popular, form of therapy.
Hot stone massage uses heat from stones, and the massage motions from a therapist, to penetrate deeply into tissue, prompting relaxation, increased detoxification, and relief of long-standing muscular tension, stress and fatigue. During the procedure the heated stones are used to manipulate different tissues and nerves in the body. So even though people who get a hot stone massage will often feel great relaxation, it’s also a recognized form of therapy for people who have various health issues.
Benefits of a Hot Stone Massage include:
We use basalt stones in our hot stone massages. The high iron content in these stones helps to maintain the heat so they can be used more effectively for therapeutic purposes. And our Massage Therapists have been trained in this practice to deliver the best results to help our clients manage stress, pain, and discomfort.
